The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 since they have married each other against their wishes. 2.

It has been averred that the petitioner No.1 is major and her date of birth is 20.1.1995 and copy of her school certificate issued by the Government Secondary School, Gige Majra, Distt. SAS Nagar (Punjab) is attached as Annexure P/1. The petitioner no.2 is also major and his date of birth is in the year 1995 and in support of the said, copy of Aadhar Card is attached as Annexure P/2. The petitioners have got married on 11.4.2016 as per Hindu Rites at Tridev Sanatan Dharam Parcharan Samity (Regd.), MDC, Sector 4, Panchkula. Copies of the marriage certificate and the marriage ceremony photographs are appended as Annexures P-3 and P/4 respectively. The petitioners are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondents no.4 to 7, who are parents/relatives of petitioner no.1 as they did not approve the marriage of the petitioners. CRM-M No.13255 of 2016 respondents no.2 ventilating their grievances and apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the veracity of the age and validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to look into the representation filed by the petitioners and take necessary action in accordance with law in view of the law laid down in Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and another 2006(2) SCC (Criminal) 478, if required.

The petition stands disposed of.
