The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection from respondent No.4 who is father of petitioner no.1. 2.

It is pleaded that the petitioners are around 26 years of age and copies of their school certificates have been appended as Annexures P/1 and P/2 showing their date of birth as 2.12.1989 and 20.8.1989 respectively. It is further pleaded that the petitioner no.1 belongs to Brahmin community whereas petitioner no.2 belongs to Balmiki community. They have got married on 17.4.2016 as per Hindu Rites at Prachin Shri Shiv Mandir, MDC Panchkula. Copy of the marriage certificate dated 17.4.2016 and the marriage ceremony photographs are appended as Annexures P-3 and 4 respectively. Petitioner no.2 is alleged to be working at Suvidha Centre.

The petitioners are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondent no.4, who is father of petitioner no.1. A representation dated 17.4.2016 (Annexure P-5) had also been made to respondents no.2 ventilating their grievances and apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondent No.4. CRM-M No.13263 of 2016 After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the veracity of the age and validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to look into the representation filed by the petitioners and take necessary action in accordance with law in view of the law laid down in Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and another 2006(2) SCC (Criminal) 478, if required.

The petition stands disposed of.
