**** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case, FIR No.212 dated 01.10.2017, registered under Sections 406, 420 IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, Police Station City Kharar, District SAS Nagar. According to the prosecution, petitioner and his accomplice Jagjit Singh cheated and defrauded the complainant for Rs.11 lakhs by alluring him to send his son abroad.

Learned counsel contends that out of the alleged cheated amount, the petitioner has received only Rs.5.00 lakhs. He has falsely been implicated in the instant case. The main accused is Jagjit Singh. Considering the seriousness of allegations, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
