Harinder Singh v. State Of Punjab And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-13228 of 2018 Date of Decision: 07.05.2019 Harinder Singh
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present:- None for the petitioner.
Mr. Amandeep S. Gill, DAG, Punjab.
Mr. V.K. Sandhir, Advocate, for respondent No.5. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent No.5, filed in Court today is taken on record.
Perusal of file shows that on previous two dates i.e. 17.11.2018 and 24.04.2019 also none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Even today, he has gone unrepresented. Therefore, it can safely be inferred that petitioner or his counsel is no more interested in pursuing this petition. Moreover, learned counsel for respondent No.5 submits that on the basis of some receipt dated 08.01.2013 petitioner is claiming his title over some land owned by respondent No.5 without any registered document in his favour. Therefore, instant petition is meaningless and not maintainable.
In view of above, petition is dismissed being not maintainable and for want of prosecution as well.
