This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6 as they have solemnized marriage against the wishes and consent of respondents No.4 to 6. The petitioners moved representation (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.2, for getting the needful done but no action has been taken so far.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran to look into the grievances of the petitioners unfolded by them in their representation dated 15.04.2015 (Annexure P-5) and if found necessary, take appropriate measures in accordance with law. However, this order shall not be construed as a measure to treat the marriage of the petitioners valid or legal. Copy of this order shall be given under the signature of Court Secretary of this Bench.
