No. 7116-CWP-2020 in/and CWP No. 18977-1998 The present application is for disposal of the writ petition in terms of the judgment dated 31.01.2020 passed by this Court in CWP No. 5276-2016 titled as Som Nath and others vs. State of Haryana and others and CWP No. 6350-2016 titled as Satish Kumar vs. State of Haryana and others (P-29) and implemented by the respondents by passing order dated 20.07.2020 (P-30).

On asking of the Court, Ms. Mamta S. Talwar, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the matter is taken up today itself for disposal.

C.W.P No. 18977-1998 (O&M) Petitioners have filed the present petition seeking direction to the respondents to grant them consequential benefits arising out of their regularisation of Class III post as Water Pump Operator Grade II/ Assistant Pump Operator w.e.f 01.12.1996 till date along with interest. Learned counsel submits that the issue with respect to regularization of Water Pump Operator had attained finality as per judgment passed by this Court in CWP No. 15820-1998 titled as Sanjiv Sharma and others vs. State of Haryana and others (P-23) and even LPA No. 907-2016 filed by the State against the above judgment has been dismissed (P-25). This fact is not being disputed by learned State counsel. Learned counsel for the petitioners has further referred to Som Nath's case (supra) to contend that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the judgment dated 31.01.2020.
