Petitioners in person with Mr. K.L. Saini, Advocate.

SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Affidavit of petitioner No.1 is already on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have married against the wishes of parents of petitioner No.2 due to which the petitioners apprehend threat to their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents. He has limited his prayer to the extent that Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh may be directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law to provide required protection to petitioners to save their lives from the hands of private respondents. It has been stated that date of birth of petitioner No.1-Amar is 03.01.1993 as per Annexure P-1 and year of birth of petitioner No.2-Krishna is 1996 as per Annexure P-2. They got married on 17.04.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh that as and when the petitioners approach him by moving SACHIN MEHTA 2015.04.21 16:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-12340-2015 -2appropriate representation along with certified copy of this order, he shall look into the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
