This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect lives and liberty of petitioners from the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5 as petitioners have solemnized marriage against their wishes and consent. Further, a prayer has also been made for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 not to initiate any proceeding against petitioners at the behest of respondent Nos.4 and 5.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar, to treat a copy of this petition as representation and look into the grievances of petitioners unfolded by them, and if found necessary, take appropriate measures in accordance with law.
