Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the matrimonial dispute with her husband, she is having apprehension of danger of her life and liberty. The petitioner wants to take appropriate legal action against her husband in accordance with law but is not daring to do so because of the threats to her life and liberty given by respondents No.4 and 5. Without commenting on the merits of the submissions in the petition, the same is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh that on receipt of application from the petitioner seeking protection to her life and liberty, appropriate action as required under law be taken.
