Keeping in view the prayer made in the present petition for releasing of retiral benefits may not be surviving due to efflux of time and the fact recorded in the order dated 22.05.2001 by the Division Bench that learned State counsel had placed a letter dated 22.05.2001 on record, releasing certain amounts in favour of the petitioner, which he was to verify if the relief still subsists or not. However nothing regarding the above was placed on record. 2.

Disposed of, reserving the petitioner with a liberty to get it revived, in case need arises.
