On the instructions of ASI Kuldip Singh, it has been informed that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and the next date of hearing before the trial court is 2.2.2017. In view of the said circumstances, the petitioner cannot claim the benefit of default of the trial court for having not been able to conclude the trial within the period of six months, as ordered earlier by this court on 3.6.2016.

Dismissed, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to raise all the pleas, taken up in this petition, at an opportune time to seek any benefit, as per law.
