**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 3 to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7. Learned State counsel on telephonic instructions from ASI Om Parkash submits that having received the representation dated 11.02.2024, the statements of respondents No.4 and 5 were recorded by ASI Om Parkash P.S. Kalan Wali, District Sirsa wherein it has been stated that on account of some matrimonial dispute between the parties, there has been some exchange of words from both sides with no overt act attributable to the private respondents.

In addition, the private respondents have given their undertaking that they neither extended any kind of threats to the petitioners nor they have any intention to do so in future.
