RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of directions to the official respondents for taking action on the representation and for registration of the FIR as the petitioner has been given third degree torture.

However, from reading of the allegations, it is apparent that alleged occurrence of missing person, namely, Sanjay, and the custodial torture of the petitioner has taken place in Uttrakhand. However, after arguing for sometime, counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities in Uttrakhand for redressal of his grievances, who have the jurisdiction to take action in the matter.

Allowed as prayed for.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. February 24, 2023 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
