NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of Criminal Complaint No. IPC-Comp-8 dated 05.05.2010 (Annexure P-1) titled as 'Sonia vs. Gopal Nath and others', as well as the summoning order dated 05.02.2011 (Annexure P-2); whereby the petitioner who is sister-in-law of complainant-respondent No. 2 was summoned to face trial for the offences under Sections 498-A/ 406 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, including the order dated 23.07.2012 (Annexure P-3) declaring the present petitioner as proclaimed person.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as the main complaint has already been withdrawn by respondent No. 2-complainant. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also produced a copy of order dated RISHU KATARIA 2023.08.18 18:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-13379-2016 -2- 2023:PHHC:106576 20.04.2018, passed by the trial Court in this regard, which is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the State does not dispute the aforesaid fact.

In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
