******* ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to take legal action against respondents No.5 to 7 for causing multiple injuries (20 in number in view of MLR dated 16.06.2020), in accordance with law.

Short reply by way of affidavit of Sub Inspector Balkaur Singh, SHO, Police Station Bhikhi, District Mansa, filed in the Court today, is taken on

-2record. In this affidavit, it is stated that the inquiry was conducted by ASI Baljinder Sngh, Police Station Bhikhi. Para No.3 of this affidavit reads as under: - "That in respect of complaint/application dated 16.06.2020, FIR No.136 dated 18.06.2020 under Sections 458/427/506/511/148/149 IPC was registered against the aggressor party including the petitioner Jagsir Singh @ Laddi at Police Station Bhikhi, District Mansa and on the same day i.e. on 18.06.2020, another FIR No.137 dated 18.06.2020 under Sections 323/341/148/149 IPC read with Section 25/54/59 of Arms Act was registered against the accused persons including the petitioner/accused at Police Station Bhikhi, District Mansa."

It is further stated in the affidavit that thereafter, ASI Gurtej Singh sought fitness report from the hospital and from the statement of petitioner Jagsir Singh @ Laddi, offence under Sections 323/34 IPC was made out and cross-case/DDR No.75 dated 18.06.2020 under Sections 323/34 IPC was registered against respondents No.5 to 7 i.e. accused persons. The clothes of the petitioner were sent to FSL, Mohali for analysis as to whether he has suffered firearm injury. It is also stated that in view of reports given by the Ballistic Expert and report of the doctor, DDR No.28 dated 26.02.2022 under Section 27/54/59 of Arms Act stands registered.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of. Liberty is granted

-3to the petitioner to move an appropriate application before the Illaqa Magistrate for redressal of his grievance, if any.

Liberty is also granted to the petitioner move an application under Section 173 (8) Cr.P.C.
