In reference to the previous order dated 21.07.2016, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Patiala, has filed an affidavit disclosing that the petitioner is named as an accused in the following FIRs:- "(i) FIR No.42, dated 22.03.2013, U/s 22/61/85 of NDPS Act, PS Sirhind, District Fatehgarh Sahib, pending in the Ld.Court of Sh.Manjot Kaur, Judge Special Court (NDPS Act), Fatehgarh Sahib for 03.08.2016.

(ii) Case FIR No.50 dated 03.04.2013, U/s 18/22/61/85 of NDPS Act, 25 of Arms Act, PS Urban Estate, Patiala, pending in the ld.Court of Special Judge (CBI), Punjab, Patiala for 03.08.2016.

(iii) FIR No.60 dated 01.06.2012, under Section 21/29/61/85 of NDPS Act r/w Section 25 of Arms Act, Police Station Meenu 2016.08.09 14:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

(iv) FIR No.83 dated 17.09.1988, under Sections 25/54/59 of Arms Act R/w Section 5 of TADA Act, Police Station Anandpur Sahib, in which the accused had been acquitted. (v) FIR No.34, dated 19.04.2013, under Section 174A IPC, Police Station Kiratpur Sahib, District Ropar, in which cancellation report has been accepted.

(vi) FIR No.346 dated 16.02.2004, under Sections 22/61/85 of NDPS Act, Police Station Civil Lines, Karnal (Haryana), in which, the petitioner has been acquitted."

It may be true that in one or two cases the petitioner has got bail but the fact of the matter is that his repeated involvement in the cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short, `the 1985 Act'), dissuade this Court to over look the rigours of Section 37 of the Act. It would not be expedient for this Court to presume that the petitioner would not involve himself in such like cases in future. No case to release the petitioner on bail is made out, at this stage.

Dismissed.
