Malkeet Kaur & ANR v. State Of Haryana And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-12470 of 2017 Date of Decision: 25.09.2018 Malkeet Kaur and another ....Petitioners
Versus
State of Haryana and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: Mr. Fateh Saini, Advocate, for Mr. J.S. Saini, Advocate, for the petitioners. Mr. Arjun Singh Yadav, AAG, Haryana.
RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent No.4, husband of petitioner No.1.
Learned State counsel contends at bar that petitioners never approached the police authorities for protection of their life and liberty. On previous complaint of petitioner No.1, kalandra proceedings under Sections 107 and 150 Cr.P.C. were initiated against respondent No.4.
Considering this aspect, instant petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
