ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.5 and 6 and their families. As per the averments in the representation (Annexure P1) the petitioner has given a complaint way back in the year 2015, which was closed by the police in January, 2015 itself and a period of more than 04 years has elapsed.

From the bare perusal of the complaint, no cognizable offence is made out. Even otherwise, if some incident has taken place in January, 2015, even then, the complaint would be barred by period of limitation as per the provisions of Section 468 Cr.P.C. Dismissed.
