ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Grievance of the petitioners herein is that they have not been accorded the benefit of old pension scheme as they joined their services prior to 01.01.2006.

Petitioners were appointed as Store Man on contractual basis in the year 1993. They were paid consolidated salary fixed by the government. They were again appointed on contract in the month of September, 2004 for a period of 89 days which was extended from time to time. In the premise, they submitted representation dated 21.09.2020 (Annexure P-2), but to no avail. Hence, the petition. 2.
On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending representation dated 21.09.2020 (Annexure P-2). SHALINI BHATIA 2022.05.14 15:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners also seeks decision on the pending representation as suggested by learned State counsel.
Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.
Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the representation dated 21.09.2020 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioners and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law. Let the needful be done as expeditiously as possible. 7.
