The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking to regularize their services pursuant to policy decision dated 18.06.1996 of Chandigarh Administration. 2.
By order dated 31.10.2001, the writ petition was admitted and it was further ordered that status quo regarding services of petitioners shall be maintained. As per record, the aforesaid order has not either been vacated by this Court or Supreme Court of India.

Mr. R.K.Gautam, Advocate submits that he is not aware about present status of petitioners.
