(ORAL) The twenty four (24) petitioners, residents of village Daha Jagir, Tehsil and District Karnal, claiming themselves to be land-less and covered under the BPL Scheme for allotment of residential plots, have approached this Court assailing the order dated 15.1.2018 (Annexure P7), passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Karnal, in compliance of the directions passed by this Court on 7.12.2017 in CWP-27844-2017, filed by the petitioners on an earlier occasion.

CWP-5392-2019 In the impugned order dated 15.1.2018 (Annexure P7), the Deputy Commissioner, has considered the claim of the petitioners in view of the earlier alleged allotment by the Gram Panchayat to be considered at a stage after conduct of the separate inquiry by the SubDivisional Officer (Civil), Karnal, and recording of evidence if necessary. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioners prays for permission to withdraw the instant writ petition, at this stage. Dismissed as withdrawn.
