RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for calling status report in case FIR No.53 dated 15.08.2016 registered under Sections 420, 506 and 120-B IPC pertaining to Police Station Sarhali, District Tarn Taran.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Satnam Singh, submits that instant petition has rendered infructuous in view of the fact that challan under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. stands presented against Pipal Singh and Surinder Kaur on 29.09.2018. Proceedings against rest of the accused have been initiated under Section 82 Cr.P.C. for getting them declared proclaimed offenders.
Dismissed as having rendered infructuous and for want of prosecution as well.
