RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to respondents no.2 to 5 to submit status report about the proceedings in case FIR No.169, dated 21.07.2022, under Sections 406, 420, 34 IPC with a further direction to trace and arrest the accused and to present the police report/challan in the trial Court within time-bound manner.

It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioners that FIR is dated 21.07.2022 and there is no progress in the same. Notice of motion to official respondents only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State. After hearing counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, to look into the representation, (if any filed by the petitioners before him within a week from today) and decide the MEENU 2023.02.27 17:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
