Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in a dispute pertaining to the agreement to sell allegedly executed by the petitioner, the police on the complaint of respondent No. 6, is harassing and calling the petitioner time and again to the police station. A representation to this effect was made by the petitioner to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, copy of which has been placed on record as Annexure P-2. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to look into the representation (Annexure P-2) made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be interpreted as giving protection to the petitioner against any action in civil, criminal or other proceedings against him in accordance with law.
