JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioners belong to the scheduled caste category and are stated to be residents of village Uplana, District Ambala. Their grievance is that Vyamshala is being constructed in the Gram Panchayat land in violation of the provisions of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961.

It is claimed that Vyamshala is being constructed on 2 acres of land earlier leased out for cultivation to the members of the scheduled caste in the light of provisions of Rule 6 of the Punjab Village RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2019.04.05 11:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
