Mr. Jaspreet Sekhon, AAG, Punjab **** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to the official respondents not to harass the petitioners and find out the whereabouts of their daughter.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Head Constable Avtar Singh states that daughter of the petitioners Simrajit Kaur has given an affidavit to the police that she has solemnized marriage with Sukhwinder Singh on 29.05.2015 and she has filed a divorce petition thereafter. One child was born out of this wedlock on 21.10.2016, which will now remain in custody of Sukhwinder Singh.

Subject to verification by the petitioner, the present petition stands disposed of, as no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
