RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to the respondents to transfer the investigation of FIR No. 73 dated 08.04.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 302, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Cantonment, Police Commissionerate Amritsar, Amritsar City, Punjab to respondent No. 3Director, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, for conducting the investigation under the supervision of some senior police officer of the rank of IPS and for cancellation thereof as the petitioner and her family members have been falsely implicated in the present case.

Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Sh. Vishaljit Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissiner of Police, West Amritsar on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 5 in Court today, which is taken on record.

Learned State counsel contends that on the version of the petitioner, a cross-case vide DDR No. 44 dated 03.08.2017 under Sections Rishu Kataria 2017.09.11 16:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-12727-2017 -2325, 323, 148, 149 and 506 IPC at Police Station Cantonment, Amritsar has been registered against the complainant party and the challan has also been prepared which has shortly to be filed in the Court. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
