 !"#  $ Learned counsel representing the private respondents Mr.D.S. Pheruman prays that mother of the girl, Baljeet Kaur who is present in Court, wants to interact with the girl. On the asking of the Court, the girl initially was reluctant but subsequently agreed to have a talk with her mother and they were allowed to interact with each other for a long time.

   On taking up the matter again, the girl has shown her resolve to live with the co5petitioner Amarjit Singh, however, Mr.Zorawar Singh representing the petitioners submits that they are still receiving threats from the girl's family. Learned State counsel has placed on record the orders passed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar5Rural dated 11.05.2015 based on the DDR entry No.30 of 23.04.2015 along with the Panchayatnama and the statements of Surjit Singh Sarpanch, Charanjit Singh, Baljit Kaur and Sukhwinder Singh and has submitted that the couple has been provided with an armed escort. Though on behalf of the petitioners insistence is being made for registration of an FIR, however, the present petition stands disposed off with the direction to the petitioners to invoke jurisdiction of the competent authority and make a representation, if any eventuality so subsists, and the Senior Superintendent of Police concerned shall act within the framework of law.
