SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 7, father and other relatives of petitioner No. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 17.04.2017 (Annexure P-4) submitted by petitioners to Superintendent of Police, Panipat. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1- Seema is 05.01.1998 as per copy of Secondary Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and year of birth of petitioner No.2- Kalu is 1990 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 16.04.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.

In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Jyoti 2017.04.18 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-12753-2017 -2Superintendent of Police, Panipat to look into the representation dated 17.04.2017 (Annexure P-4) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
