The instant petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 Cr.P.C.), for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, during the pendency of trial, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed hereunder:- Name of Petitioner(s) FIR No.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, on 17.04.2026, the following was recorded:

"Petitioner-Gagandeep Singh, aged 42 years, has filed this petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail in case FIR No.193 dated 03.08.2025 under Section 15(c) of NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station Canal Colony, Bathinda, District Bathinda. 2.

While accused-Gagandeep Singh (petitioner herein) and his co-accusedBalwinder Singh @ Bhullar were in the house, on conducting raid, 240 Kgs of REENA 2026.04.18 02:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-8570-2026 poppy husk (Doda Chura Post) was recovered in the present case on 03.08.2025. 3.

Reply dated 16.03.2026 by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-1, Bathinda, filed on behalf of the respondent as well as the custody certificate, are taken on record. Office to tag the same at an appropriate place.

4. As per custody certificate, the petitioner is already a convict in case FIR No.208 dated 01.10.2020 under Section 15 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Canal Colony, Bathinda.

5. The petitioner is inside jail for the last 08 months and 10 days, however, since arguing counsel is not available, adjourned to 18.04.2026." 3.

Recovery in the present case is 240 Kgs of poppy husk (Doda Chura Post).

Faced with the situation and without arguing much, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage. 5.
