The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.0091 dated 10.2.2020 at Police Station City Sirsa, District Sirsa (HR) under Section 21 of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act.

As per case of the prosecution 10 grams of 'heroin' was recovered from Navdeep, who during the course of interrogation disclosed that he had purchased the same from Jasbir Kaur (petitioner). 3.
Learned State counsel has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioner has already joined investigation and that the petitioner happens to be involved in one more case.

It is not disputed that the petitioner was never arrested from the spot and that her name came to be nominated pursuant to a disclosure statement, the veracity and admissibility of which would be detabable. 5.
Having regard to the said fact and the fact that the petitioner has already joined investigation, custodial interrogation is not warranted.
