This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of pre-arrest bail in a case registered vide F.I.R. No.145 dated 25.6.2014 under Sections 336,323,427,295,148,149 I.P.C. and Sections 25,27,54, 59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Lopoke, Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that there is no allegation of causing injury to any person and merely because the petitioner's name has been GHANSHYAM DASS 2015.08.04 14:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document high court chandigarh
Cr.M.No.M-12750 OF 2015 -2mentioned in the F.I.R. with a rifle, would not attribute any serious role to him. Besides, co-accused of the petitioner has already been granted the concession of pre-arrest bail.
Noticing this, the Court had granted the interim protection to the petitioner on 6.5.2015, pursuant to which he has since joined the investigation which fact is not controverted by the learned counsel appearing for the State. Consequently, the interim directions dated 6.5.2015 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner continues to comply with the provisions of Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
Petition stands allowed.
