The present petition has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for violation of the order dated 20.01.2023 passed by this Court whereby the civil revision being CR-2499-2022 was disposed off directing the respondents therein to restore the electricity supply in the premises in possession of the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents today has filed a reply wherein it is stated that on 13.08.2022 the suit itself stood withdrawn by the petitioner before the National Lok Adalat and till date the same has not been restored though an application has been filed for revival of the suit by the petitioner. Learned counsel has further pointed out that the suit itself had been withdrawn and this fact could not be brought to the notice of the Court as the AMAN JAIN 2025.09.03 09:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

COCP-641-2023 (O&M) -2counsel did not appear under the misconception that the matter would be taken up at its turn, however, the matter was taken up after the urgent list. Learned counsel has further stated that now an application has been filed by the respondents herein for recalling the order dated 20.01.2023 which is pending before a Coordinate Bench of this Court.
