(Oral) This is the 2nd petition for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0130 dated 11.12.2020 registered under Sections 22/25/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Bhadaur, District Barnala.

As per the affidavit of the Investigating Officer, the petitioner is involved in 02 more FIRs of NDPS Act and 01 FIR under the Excise Act, whereas he stands convicted in all the 03 FIRs. Counsel for the State submits that out of 16 PWs, 15 PWs have already been examined and last witness will be examined before the trial Court on 14.12.2022.

In view of the above, counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition may be disposed of by giving some time bound direction to conclude the trial.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of 04 months from today.
