The prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 10.04.2002 as also for directing the respondents to grant the notional promotion to the petitioner to the post of principal w.e.f. 31.03.1993, the date from which the junior Head Mistresses were promoted to the said post. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner refers to the averments made in para 8 of the written statement dated 05.10.2002 filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, which reads thus:

'In reply to this para it is respectfully submitted that the claim of the petitioner for the seniority as Headmistress w.e.f. 10.11.1982 has already been considered and she was allotted the new seniority No.174 A and subsequently her case for promotion to the post of P.E.S. Class II w.e.f. 15.2.1996 is under consideration of competent authority. More position has already been explained in the foregoing paras.' 3.

Learned State counsel states that in case, the consideration has not taken place in terms of the aforesaid, the same shall be done within a period of 4 MOHIT 2025.03.07 17:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-11130-2002 (O&M) -2months and in case, it is favourable, consequences thereof shall flow and the issue of interest shall also be decided, which satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner.
