Mr. Bhavyadeep Walia, Advocate for the complainant. ******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.120 dated 15.04.2014 registered for offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code (for short, "IPC") at Police Station Tripuri Town, Patiala.

Status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-II, Patiala filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. Heard.

Learned State counsel and learned counsel for complainant submit that the petitioner was allowed interim bail vide order dated 14.08.2015 on the undertaking of counsel for the petitioner that he (petitioner) had to arrange money to be returned to complainant. The petitioner enjoyed benefit of bail for a period of more than two years when it was withdrawn vide order dated 19.09.2017. CRM-M-12857 of 2015 -2Services Committee was requested to appoint a legal aid counsel to assist this Court to represent the case of petitioner. Learned Legal Aid Counsel submits that he has not been able to contact the petitioner.

This is application seeking regular bail. Keeping in view the fact that petitioner is absconding after the order allowing him interim bail was recalled, I find no reason to proceed further with this petition and the same is dismissed with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to arrest the petitioner and produce him in Court.
