Mr. Karanvir Nanda, Advocate for respondent No.2. *** MANOJ BAJAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.49 dated 21.08.2016, under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC and 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act registered at Police Station Valtoha, District Tarn Taran (Annexure P1) on the basis of compromise. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Gurpreet Singh has apprised the Court that the investigation in the FIR is complete and the cancellation report has already been prepared and the same is likely to be submitted before the Court of competent jurisdiction within two weeks from today.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition.

Dismissed as not pressed.
