The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: 'It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that the present Petition may kindly be allowed and this Hon'ble Court may kindly quash the FIR No. 17 dated 28.1.2018 under Sections 323, 341, 186, 148, 506 IPC registered at Police Station Chabbewal, (P-9) Distt Hoshiarpur.' 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petition in hand has been rendered infructuous in view of the judgment dated 22.7.2025 passed by the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hoshiarpur, whereby the petitioners were convicted.
