The present petition was filed for quashing of FIR No. 43, dated 2nd March, 2016, under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Moga City, District Moga.

On 11th July, 2023, parties were directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/Trial Court for getting the statements recorded. 3.

As per the report received, none had appeared before the Court concerned for getting the statements recorded. Further vide judgment dated 1st December, 2022 by the Court below, it is forthcoming that Monu Sharma was convicted under Section 420 read with Section 120-B of IPC, 1860.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 6.
