The present appeal pertains to the year 2019 and the same is still at the stage of preliminary hearing inasmuch as notice of motion is yet to be issued. Challenge in the present appeal is to the award dated 15.01.2019 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sri Muktsar Sahib vide which the claim petition filed by the claimant-injured on account of the injuries received by him in a motor vehicular accident on 27.01.2017, was dismissed.

Vide order dated 25.03.2022 notice was issued to the appellant and as per the Office report he has since died. 3.

On 11.11.2022 Mr. Gurpal S. Sandhu, Advocate had put in appearance on behalf of the appellant and sought an adjournment and the matter was adjourned to 01.08.2023. Thereafter, the matter was adjourned on numerous occasions by order. Today learned counsel for the appellant states that he has no instructions in the matter.

In view of the earlier report that the sole appellant has since died and none of his legal representative(s) have come forward to get themselves impleaded as parties, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 5.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
