IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CWP-5968-2021 Date of decision :January 18, 2022 Dr. Indu .....Petitioner

Versus

State of Haryana and others ....Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE LISA GILL

Present:

Mr. Virendra Rana, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Randhir Singh, Addl. AG, Haryana.

*** LISA GILL, J.

This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to the outbreak of pandemic, COVID-19.

It is submitted that petitioner was appointed at the post of Extension Lecturer (Hindi) on 19.09.2016 and she continued working till 06.12.2017. She applied for medical/maternity leave, however, she was not granted the same neither was she allowed to be re-adjusted at the post of Extension Lecturer. However, respondent - authorities are not considering her case only due to the fact that displacement certificate has not been issued to her. Non-issuance of this certificate, it is submitted, is not due to any fault of the petitioner. In this respect, it is contended that representation dated 05.01.2021 was submitted but to no avail. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts the prayer for a decision on representation dated 05.01.2021 (Annexure P13), submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.
