Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the impugned order dated 23.03.2000 as also directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to fix the salary of the petitioner in accordance with the last pay certificate dated 11.05.2000. 2.

Learned counsel submits that regarding the claim as raised in the present petition, a representation dated 10.04.2001, Annexure P13, has been submitted, which has yet not evoked any response. He, on instructions, states that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same, in light of the order dated 05.07.2002 passed in CWP-197221998, in a time bound manner. 3.

Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 4.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 10.04.2001, Annexure P13, taking note of the afore-referred order and considering its applicability, expeditiously, in accordance with law, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith.
