Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.158, dated 29.10.2024, under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC and Section 24 of Emigration Act, 1983, registered at Police Station City I, Malerkotla, District Malerkotla.

Vide order dated 07.05.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 07.05.2025, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.
