This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 0049 dated 04.03.2018 under sections 13(1), 13(3) and 3 of HGSGS Act, 2015 at Police Station Bahin district Palwal.

Allegation against the petitioner is that recovery of 534 cow skins were recovered from the truck being owned by him. He was arrested on the spot. He has been in custody since then. Conclusion of proceedings may take long time to conclude. Thus, he deserves to be enlarged on bail. Keeping in view the period of incarceration of the petitioner and the fact that recovery has already been effected, I am of the considered view that no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in custody any longer. Accordingly, petition is allowed and petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail to the satisfaction of Trial court/Duty Magistrate subject to such terms and condition(s) as it may deem fit to impose.
