Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.144 dated 24.09.2014 under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B and 511 IPC registered at Police Station City, Jalabad, District Fazilka. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that the petitioner is named in the FIR. As per the prosecution version, co-accused had tried to obtain a loan from the Bank against the land of the complainant, by impersonation and by showing forged documents. The allegation against the present petitioner Rajinderpal Singh is that he has forged identity card which was used in the Bank for obtaining loan. In view the fact that petitioner is named in the FIR and he VINEET GULATI 2015.01.20 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-1311 of 2015 -2has forged the identity card, I find that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation and otherwise also, no ground is made out to grant anticipatory bail in this case.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
