(ORAL) Instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to issue directions to the local police to file supplementary challan (report under Section 173 Cr.P.C.) in case FIR No.370 dated 28.12.2005 registered under Sections 452/ 454/ 457/ 380/ 427/ 354/ 376/ 511/ 336/ 506/148/149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Patiala, before the Court of competent jurisdiction, as the challan produced by the investigating agency is not complete.
Learned counsel for the State, after seeking instructions from ASI Gurmej Singh, states that this petition has been rendered infructuous as supplementary challan has already been submitted. Dismissed as infructuous.
