******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This is petition filed by the petitioners seeking protection to their lives and liberty, it is submitted that respondent No. 4, who is the Sarpanch of village Manvi, District Sangrur has to settle some scores with brother of petitioner No. 2 and is also posing threat to lives and liberty of the petitioners. A representation to this effect was made to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, copy of which has been placed on file as Annexure P-2.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, to look into the representation made by petitioner Annexure P-2 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
