(ORAL ) Through video conference The present petition has been filed under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing respondent Nos.3 and 4 to finalise the report in the enquiry which has been ordered vide Annexure P-4 dated 13.1.2021,.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner who is a social worker and whistle blower had filed a complaint to the Principal Secretary, Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab, vide Annexure P-2 on 17.12.2020 against RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2021.03.22 12:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-6489-2021 (O&M) respondent Nos.6 and 7. Thereafter, vide Annexure P4 dated 13.1.2021, the Director, Technical Education and Industrial Training Department, Punjab, has directed an enquiry and also deputed an enquiry officer for enquiring into the allegations levelled in the complaint filed by the petitioner. It was further ordered that the enquiry report be sent within two weeks. On a query put by this Court to Mr.Dadwal, learned counsel for the petitioner that the enquiry has been ordered on 13.1.2021 and only two months have expired which cannot be termed as unreasonable delay although the Director, Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab, had directed that the report be sent within two weeks, he prays for withdrawal of the present petition, at this stage, in view of the fact that the present petition is pre-mature. He has, however, prayed for liberty to approach this Court at a later stage in case so required. The prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner is accepted.

The present writ petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach this Court at an appropriate stage in case so required or advised.
