Mr. Amardeep Singh Mann, Advocate for the petitioner. *** DEEPAK GUPTA, J. (ORAL) [1] The petitioner is seeking regular bail by way of petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C in case FIR No.0206 dated 15.12.2023 under Sections 307, 324, 323, 34 IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station City-I, Mansa, District Mansa.
[2] Allegations are that petitioner along with co-accused caused injuries to the complainant-Lakhwinder Singh. The attribution to the petitioner is that he was armed with a sword and inflicted injury therewith to the complainant by hitting him on the left side of his chest. He also inflicted two blows of sword on the head of complainant. [3] Learned counsel contends that co-accused Gurmail Singh has already been allowed bail vide order dated 05.02.2024 (Annexure P-2). Learned counsel further contends that matter has already been compromised between the parties. Copy of compromise has been placed on record.

[6] Learned counsel for the respondent-complainant admits the factum of the compromise and has no objection in granting the bail to the petitioner.
[7] Petitioner is in custody since 16.12.2023.
[8] Considering all the above said facts and circumstances including compromise but without commenting anything further on the merits of the case or regarding the legality of the compromise having been effected between the parties, which is conceded by learned counsel for the respondent-complainant and the fact that trial may take long time to conclude, this petition is allowed and petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned, on usual terms and conditions.
