Mr. Gopal Singh Nahel, Advocate for the petitioner. VINOD S. BHARDWAJ , J (ORAL) Challenge is laid to impugned order dated 03.05.2024 whereby claim of the petitioner for seeking voluntary reversion from the post of Superintendent Divisional Accounts to the post of Upper Division Clerk on account of medical exigencies has been declined by the respondents. On the ground that there is no such provision in the statutory rules, present petition has been filed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the same prayer was made by similarly situated persons for seeking voluntary reversion and reference is made to petition bearing CWP-23153-2023 titled Jagtar Singh vs. Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) and Ors wherein similar objection has been taken by the respondent-Department, and this court vide order dated 13.12.2023 allowed the said petition while setting aside the impugned orders of the respondent-Department with further directions to the respondents-PSPCL to consider the claim of the petitioner seeking voluntary reversion from the post of Officiating Assistant Accounts Officer (Revenue) to the post of Revenue Accountant.
He contends that in compliance thereto, the respondents have already issued order of reversion of the petitioner-Jagtar Singh in CWP-23153-2023 vide order dated 30.05.2024. Reference is also made to similar order passed by this Court on 04.10.2024 in CWP-25341-2024 titled Chetan Kumar vs. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and Others. CWP No.4442-2025 subsequent orders have been passed by the respondent themselves and that he would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent-PSPCL is directed to consider and decide the representation dated 07.02.2025 (Annexure P.9) served by the petitioner, by giving due reference to subsequent order passed by the Authority concerned themselves as well as the orders passed by this Court in time bound manner.

Mr. Gursimran Singh Bawa, Advocate for Ms. Harpriya Khaneka, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-PSPCL and does not have any objection to the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, in view of the above; with the consent of the parties and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of while directing respondent-PSPCL to consider and decide the representation dated 07.02.2025 (Annexure P.9) by passing a reasoned and speaking order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the respective parties within a period of three months of the receipt of certified copy of this order. All pending misc application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of accordingly.
